My hen has a worm, please help!

I just found out that one of my hens has some sort of worm. I found it in her poop this morning. (See pic) What type of worm is this? And how do I treat her? Also, I know that while I'm treating her I can't eat her eggs... but can I eat the egg she laid this morning?

Looks like Ascaridia. Treat with Wazine and don’t eat the eggs until you finish treatment.

It looks like she is very infested! You will have to worm your entire flock.

I agree with @Chick-N-Fun . That is a heavy infestation. I would think killing a large number of round worms at once may be toxic to the hen and could kill her.
I would wait to get @casportpony 's advice on how to proceed.

That's a lot of worms! There is a wormer that is approved for laying hens when small amounts are given. If you want to treat for worms and eat the eggs, give Safeguard (fenbendazole) at 1 mg/kg for 5 days. Let me go look for the link that explains how to do it.

Is it stange that the rest of her poop today has not looked like this? Not a single worm. I have her and her 2 sisters in my garage today because it's -5 outside with winds at 30mph. So I have been checking the poop in my garage every 30 minutes. Last night I gave all of my hens a bath with salt water and dish soap because they have a very small case of lice. (Actually the one with the worm didn't appear to have lice, but I gave her the bath anyways just in case. This is her 2nd bath with her sisters in 2 weeks.) This morning was the first I ever saw with worms in her poop. Is it possible the salt water in her bath drew out the worms and that's why there was so many?
