My Hen Has Been Looking Rather Moth Eaten For Awhile Now....

How long does a typical molt take?
She's the only one who has molted at all...no one else has yet.
This is their first molt.
I would think she had fleas or something if anyone else was having an issue, but it's just her.
Any thoughts?

Most of mine seem to take about 3 to 3 1/2 months to finish their molt. Some do it a bit quicker, depends on how severe the molt is.

Thanks a million, I was getting worried about her.
The underside of her neck is pretty bare, her fluff on her butt is sparse. She just looks like she's been in a moth filled closet for far too long.
Still happy and no bugs on her....and everyone else looks normal. My Brahma had a tiny molt, but she's fine now.
I worry more than I should, but hey, it's good to ask questions!
