Some chickens will not accept being in a sling so you may not be able to use one.OK, I have a knew problem we made her a sling and it works but she keeps flapping and going crazy and jumping out, how do get her to stay in the sling?
I'm sorry, its very hard to get a good picture of it. Her foot might be a little swollen but it does not look injured other than the way she holds itSome chickens will not accept being in a sling so you may not be able to use one.
If she is getting out of it, then she may further injury herself in her struggle.
It's hard to tell in the photo - is the foot swollen? Does it look like it's injured somehow?
The leg does not seem paralyzed and there is no sign of bumble foot but there is swelling where her foot connects to the leg which is where it hurts her the most. Thank you, I will try the sling

There is swelling and im not sure when she last laid an egg, we have many chickens, thank you so much i will just let her restIs it swollen?
With her age - when was the last time she laid an egg?
I would let her rest for a few days to see what happens. See that she is eating her normal poultry feed. If you have poultry vitamins give those to her for a couple of days too.
Hopefully if it's an injury she will improve in a couple of days.
