My hen hurt her leg!!!! Please Help!!!!

Responding to someone who is obviously distressed to "settle down" is condescending and flat out, rude. Why would anyone think that this is helpful?

Hey my hen has close to the same problem. pasty butt, and won't put weight on her leg. here is something to try. it is called a sling, their feet stick out the bottom so they don't have to put weight on them and can rest. Just make sure they can reach their food, and be sure to give them lots of good food.

any tips for whats wrong with my hen. here are the details:
resistant to move or put weight on leg
scaly leg mights
very swollen at point where leg bends and slightly blue.
slightly distressed but not in a lot of pain
doesn't feel loose or broken
holding close to breast
lives by herself in small cage
no high surfaces to jump from
is laying a little not a lot( before today)
not sure of age

chicks have fragile bones and can easly break them by jumping of a perch to high of the ground. I sugest doing research call to the vets and ask of the closest vet to care for chickens.
