My hen is bobbing her head, sometimes just standing still with closed eyes

Hi everyone, sorry for the late update, we've been watching closely on our hen Tsikie, she's not drinking and only eating leaves like lettuce and few wet oatmeal, she doesn't eat the mashed oatmeal or feeds. She also would eat little bit of yoghurt. So we have to liquify her feeds mix her medicine and use syringe. The other day her weight started to drop to 1.6lbs from 1.9 last week and we tripled panicked. We also gave her watermelon because we're so worried she will be dehydrated good thing she ate some of it. Yesterday she weight 1.87 and this morning 1.85lbs

Her crop feels empty most of the time since we noticed she's sick, her breath doesn't smell but not sure as we haven't encountered sour crop to be honest. Since we found out that she would eat leaves and watermelon her crop would feel small puff and soft. I cant also find monistat in here.

We cant see any yellowish inside her beak also, but there's tiny spot of black in the upper part of her mouth. We've been able to find med for canker though and its her 3rd day today taking it, its in pill form. We actually not sure if its working, she's still not drinking on her own and not eating her pellets. Her poop during the day are so watery, and it seems like she's not being able to digest well what she's eating. But since the other night her poop is a bit larger when we checked in the morning. She's also still sleeping during most of the day and we think she is awake all night because she's always up everytime we checked her during the night.

This is her latest video, she will only eat the lettuce and watermelon if we are holding it to her, not sure why

watery poop and looks like not totally digested, the lettuce leaves are those that fell out of her beak

The poop says she's having a hard time digesting the food.

Have you tried wetting chicken kibble for her? Chicken kibble is easier for chickens to digest. No treat-like foods until she's better. Did you know mealworms have a hard exoskeleton? Talk about chewing on a rock. No way she can be digest that without grit.

A 24 hour water-only period could help? A lot of time before patients go in for surgery, the patient can't eat anything for 24 hours so they flush everything out of the system.

Is she improving though?

Like people, healing takes time, I say at least 1 week to see a good improvement.

What other foods have you tried?
