Also how would I even go about finding adult chickens in my area??

They near adult size at 6 months, they are fully grown at about 18 months. And you can get chicks from online hatchers/breeders. Started pullets.

You can buy started pullets from several hatcheries. Or you can check local craigslist ads or facebook buy/sell/trade pages.

Yeah but the problem I see with facebook and esp with Craigslist is you just don't know what kind of care these poor chickens have had or what health issues they could have which then could in fact get my Daisy sick too, not to even mention the GRIEF I'd be subjected to endure by getting attached to yet ANOTHER chicken and then losing it and/or struggling and suffering seeing the poor thing sick and suffering too??? God I just CANNOT go thru anything like that again right now!! I am a FANATIC when it comes to ANY animal period and I go crazy when one is sick, hurting in pain or whatever!! I can't even watch the NEWS or scroll thru facebook even because of the fear of seeing or hearing about yet ANOTHER case of animal abuse!!! I get physically sick!! I will cry for a week!! It'll stay in my head and play over and over!! I SWEAR I truly AM this way!! You probably think I'm crazy.. but I just tell my husband that I was not made for this world!! It's cruelty.. the horror of it all!!

I have the phone number of a local farm I found and I've also emailed them to see what they might have. Or perhaps they can direct me to who can help me??

I'd just LOVE a Turken Frizzle or Showgirl!! In fact I was wanting to get a third hen and get one of them just recently but was advised against the dynamics of having 3 hens. So I didn't.

Anyways, I'm just south of Tampa, Florida if anyone can help me with a hen for my Daisy!!! My husband IS NOT going to be a happy camper however!!! Lol
