My Hen is Drooling

I went out to feed my hens and I noticed when the one hen went to grab the food with her beak she was drooling. Is this some kind of disease?

separate that bird or at least keep a good eye on it as drooling is ofttimes a symptom of botulism ...

Are the eggs safe to eat?
What about the rest of the flock?

was it just for a second or is it always like that?
one of mine does it after it drinks

I went to go separate it and when I picked it up it was drooling

It may have just drank a lot of water. It is worth keeping an eye on her but mine will do that if they drink heavily and then start pecking the ground. How is her behavior otherwise? Is she eating and defecating normally?

then i wouldnt worry TOO much...but its prolly still good to keep a close eye on her
