MY HEN IS GONE!!!! I DNT KNOW WHERE SHE IS!!!!

I went out side this morning and i noticed my light brahma hen was gone! i looked every where! she is no where to be found!! She was the most beautiful hen that I had!!!

I sont know where she is. there was no feathers anywhere? could a hawk have taken her?

Is it possibleshe went broody and set up a nest somewhere. I thought hawks could only take out small chicks and they usually hunt during the day.

she was only a few months old. but she was almost as big as my full grown hens. she was the only white hen. she was about 4 months and she was pretty big

I sure hope she turns up, but four months old is too young to be broody.

I hope you find her and she is okay, but some of the possible predators are : fox, coyote, owl, large wild cat
