Sorry to hear it. Sometimes that's just the way it goes.

If you are not too squeamish, you could consider doing your own autopsy. Then you can look for things like tumors, worms, infected organs and other stuff. It might give you a clue and perhaps give you a chance to treat the flock if you find anything.
 
Oh no. Well, it sounds like you did all you could do for Pablo. Sometimes you just can't catch them in time! I'm sorry for your loss.

A necropsy would be worth the effort. I'm not squeemish from working as a vet tech for a couple years, but I've never tried to do something like that to an animal that was once my pet. So I wouldn't blame you for not being able to do it!

Well seeing as I am the Coroner for my county I think i can handle it.

autopsy complete, nothing out of the ordinary. Dont know what happened. So far the other checkens seem fine
