My hen is limping

I had my girls out in the yard all day yesterday and I let them out again today and one of my hens is limping should I be worried?

Check her feet and legs for any obvious injury....otherwise just keep an eye on her.
I have seen several limpers, it can come and go.....just like us, they can stub a toe, pull a muscle or twist an ankle and limp for a few days or longer.

I had one hen that limped for years - I even had a vet look at her. Never could determine what the issue was but she still ate, drank and played with her lady friends, so we were not worried. I would say watch her eating habits and see if she stops roosting in the same spot because she cannot get up.

You can definitely tell a change when they are not feeling well. Good Luck!
