I'm not sure, it probably just looks like that because it's a double yolker. But we've had double yolkers before and they were smooth. Just in case, we have a sick chicken and I was looking up wrinkled shells and I THINK (but am not sure) that infectious bronchitis causes them to look like that. Check your flock! Do a search on wrinkled shells. It will tell you what disease is associated with it.

the latest egg was smooth,just huge and double yolked. The flock is healthy. All are eating like hogs and look good. I'm not there all day when they are producing so it's impossible to tell who is doing it. Bronchitis>>./??/?Really?? Wow, I always thought chickens were easy to maintain .They are becoming like kids. What's next , pink eye,the flu,a note from the principle?
