seems lately i have had alot of soft shells, or thin- and they get oystershell....

I would definitely have to keep that egg (or you do something crazy and hatch it and see if you get a dinosaur)

Really, I would blow that one out and find a little stand for it. It actually looks like flesh.

it looks like it was a soft shell and began to harden.....

When I opened one like that my RIR laid last year, there was another egg inside, complete with its own shell. The larger outside wrinkled shell was really thick. Freaky.
