My hen sits on eggs but doesn't lay any eggs

I have this hen who has dark color skin and is a dark brown with light brown/orange stripes around her neck and she tends to go into nests with eggs and sit on them, she hasn't laid any eggs yet though

How do you know she hasn’t yet laid any?

she is 1 and a half years old, she goes there during 1pm

because there is always the same amount of eggs when she gets off the eggs

Hasn't she ever laid an egg, or she did? She may be egg bound, or may be the initial stages of broody behaviour

How long does she stay? The timing sounds like a laying hen, or at least a hen trying to lay. Is it possible she is not getting the egg out and then dropping it later?

Probably broody.

My hens make me feel guilty, when I take their eggs. Just saying. But they don’t go broody, they are Leghorns
