My hen won't lay

Help!! I'm new to having my own chickens. I have 2 hens. I have had them since they were a day old, they are now 6 months old. My one hen lays once a day, she started laying at 20 weeks. My other hen, unsure of when she started to lay because she hid her 2 eggs. They she started to lay soft shelled and shell less eggs. They she completely stopped laying. They are on layer feed from southern states, free range oyster shell, and had a protein block. She still isn't laying. Her comb is not red like the other hen. It's in between a pale red and red. ( if that makes sense) it's also kind of flopped over. Is there a reason why she won't lay? Something I can do to help her?

Have you inspected her for signs of external and/or internal parasites? Either/both can sap a bird's system and, in a stressed system, the reproductive system is one of the first to shut down.

She could have paricitses. I would check them because it could be bothering her. She is also young and needs time to mature. But check for paricitses and internal damage.

I will definitely go check her this morning. She never digs at herself so honestly I didn't even think about her having parasites.

Is there something to get that works to get rid of the parasites?
