My hens are not laying eggs

I have 6 hens (2 barred rock, 2 prod red, 2 leghorns) the BR hens were laying when I purchased! The other four were nogt! I got them home and the barred rock layed for about a week... All the sudden they stopped. I thought there was a snake or varmit getting the eggs so I placed a egg in the nest and it has not moved.
The have 24/7 access to feed and fresh water
(Laying pellets, scratch, oyster shell) they also have free range in daylight hours!

. If you got the birds a short time ago, its normal as the stress of moving to a new "home" can stop the egg laying machinery for a while. The eggs that you were getting, were already in the egg laying system. If its more than 3-4 weeks since you got them, I'd suggest reposting your question on the "chicken behaviours and egg laying" forum.

did you confine them in the coop a week after getting them? If not they may have chosen a laying place NOT in the coop

Ok thank you and yes i have confined them to the enclosure to ensure layn of the eggs in nest box
