I have two hens being broody. One is trying her darndest to hatch a lightbulb she found in the barn. Oh well, I steal her real eggs, and she's happy with her 60 watt.

The other one is setting on NOTHING. She was laying, and I'd take her eggs and leave her easter eggs. Now I took her eggs since she stopped laying, and she hasn't laid any more but is still acting like she has eggs. What gives?

on the lightbulb. That's a new one!

When a hen goes broody and is determined she'll sit on air. Maybe you should give a 100 watt to hatch, get some variety in you flock.
