My hens are working together with their chicks

Pics
It's amazing how some of them are looking so different when they all looked pretty much the same as new chicks. They are 13 weeks old (tomorrow) and they are pretty close to the size of the hens. The copper colored cockerel is actually just a little bigger already. The barred rock guys have a jade green coming in on some of their tail feathers. Just saw that today. The black ones all have the green color in their black. Very pretty. The little copper/black pullet is a real "chicken"... sweet but afraid of everything.

I had a good morning chuckle when I went out to let everyone out this morning. The red hens are always so noisy when I am getting the horses fed, they are always demanding that I open their door. This morning it sounded like one of the boys was trying to get his crow on; but when I looked, it was one of the red hens. LOL The "chicks" are all so quiet (they are 16 weeks old). The 11 of them don't make even a quarter of the noise that 1 or 2 of the hens do in the morning. I haven't caught any of the boys actually trying to crow yet.
