my hens first eggs

my chickens started laying and today i got my fifth egg so i decided i had enough to cook. the first egg was as large as a large store bought egg and the four after were quite small. i cracked the big one first and it had three yolks in it which i thought was very cool. these are my first backyard fresh eggs i have never had anything other than store eggs and they were quite good. they were very bright orange and very good i didnt think they tasted much different than store eggs just tasted much fresher.

Congradulations on your first! I just got my first egg on Wednesday. I have only gotten two more since then but hoping to get another in the morning so that I can fix breakfast.
