My Hens have Singed Feathers from heat lamp....

I started using a heat lamp a few weeks ago and today I noticed that my brahama & cochin have singed their feathers. Their bodies are not burned, thank goodness.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Will the feathers grow back?

Never had it happen, but have clipped their wings and they always grow back. They should be ok though.
