My hens stopped laying, can anyone help?

Reasons they aren’t laying:
A. They’re malnourished and in survival mode. Grass and water ≠ layer feed.
B. It’s winter.

Out of 13-14 girls was only getting 4-6 eggs daily. Before Molting not much better. S Central Montana. Shreaded some cheese for them last week, Y-day, 6 eggs to day. Off the electric grid so no heater even IF they slept in the coop. (Bottom fell out of laying box So MOST of the young ones gave up roosting THERE!) They roost on the back porch of log cabin, Boxes, small pet carriers, Lots of places, w/straw I've found eggs before. Now it's just a point of making sure Youngest dog not outside eating cheese before hens can get to it... Years ago, I squawked at someone who said they fed shredded cheese! No longer HAVE horses so can AFFORD to feed cheese Now!!

It’s norm

It’s normal for chickens to slow production in the winter. My girls stopped laying during their last moult but they usually start back up in early January. Their bodies need a rest!
