BC,
So I'm the one who's been talking about getting chickens, I've look up breeds, breeders, looked for a good place to set up the coop and run and so-on. Yesterday Hubby says to me, "you know, we could seperate the cement pad in 2 and have ducks on the other side of the chickens". HMMMMM.... K, so I guess this has become OUR hobby now. Not that I am complaining, I think it's great the my wonderfull hubby is wanting to partake in my new endeavor... I just find it a little funny. Maybe I'll be able to talk hunny into more chickens/ducks...

Oh absolutly!!! and I get to drag him here and there, and we get to work on the coop design together, it's awesome!!! The other day he was even looking at garden sheds at Home Depot and trying to figure out how he could insulate it and add electricity... I love my hubby!

I'm good with starting with smaller less threatening (for the moment) chickens....

Caat that's great!

At this point my DH said he want's nothing whatsoever to do with the chickens (absolutely not cleaning anything related to them), even to the point of telling me "have fun building the coop!" LOL, he thinks I can't. I was married to a carpenter and spent 10 years with an SO who was a custom builder, think I didn't pick anything up? Hehehe... Just you wait.

Of course I'm sure once he meets the fuzzy butts all this will change... he's a bigger sucker for critters than I am, and I'm baaaaaad!
