A question..... I have one egg that has a crack in it when I candle it. But it also has a chick growing in it. Do I leave it??? Or do I take it out???

Hey Ang, you did a nice job on your bator. Hope you have lots of little peeps hatch.

I do have beeswax... or does it need to be dripped candle wax??? .. I will do that. I'd hate to lose one to a tiny crack when it is growing otherwise.

Thanks... it took a while to get it all set up the way I wanted it. But so far so good

The hatch works well without letting all the heat and humidity out. I'm really glad I added it, allthough, reaching the eggs toward the back does get a bit tricky sometimes

Good luck with this! I too, would like to make on of MissPrissy's Chick-Chick Bators and I am really interested in how this hatch comes out for you. Please keep updating on how your little chicks are progressing.

These didn't turn out the greatest, but you can see the veins and the growth.

I will have to play with my settings until I find one that works for these kinds of pics

Speaking of that.... should I be able to see that allready? Do eggs develope at different rates? Can some be a few days further than the rest? If so, how will this effect the hatching process?
