My Homemade Candler

Here are some pics of my homemade candler.
I just took a light,

A box

That is a fresh egg.

what is the purpose of the box? i see that a lot and I tried it with a tissue box, a tp roll... i had better luck just cupping my hand around a flashlight and the egg and I wasnt as worried about dropping the egg.

Just curious! I love candling! maybe I should try a box again so I could get pictures!

Well you can see the whole egg with the box and i didnt have a flashlight that was working.

oh.. that makes sense! i usually cradle the egg on its side. I had to take dh's maglight that he keeps in the garage, my lights for emergencies werent strong enough...

How many days till your eggs hatch? I have 15 hatching on the 27th and then 11 hatching on the 6th. Happy hatching!
