My homemade Muscadine wine is ready!!!! :)

I wanted to make some blackberry this year but it was so dry that the berries were very small and did not have much juice in them

Homemade wine is the best. I make blueberry wine, since we have a small "Pick Your Own" blueberry farm. Last fall ('08) I started some muscadine and another that was a mix of muscadine and scuppernong. Haven't bottled those yet, but they taste promising.

I also make wine from fruit I grow. I have 25 cabernet vines, and ~18 zinfandel vines. I also have several apricot trees, and apricot wine is yum-eee! Here is a fine site with recipes and tips for anybody wanting to learn more about wine-making:

I have never tried to make any blueberry wine. I need to look into that because my bush is loaded every year!

Glad I found this thread. I just got a lot of muscadine and will be doing some wine tonight.
