Sharing pics of a Hoop Coop I recently built. Made a frame that is 2x4s that is close to 8 foot by 8 foot. The front and rear board are notched and actually sit on top of the boards on the sides. So there is a gap approx. an inch and a half. So that the boards on the sides act as skids that I slide the whole coop along the ground on. I used sixteen foot cattle panels attatched to the frame on the outside with fence staples. Then took a three foot wide roll of chicken wire and ran that all around the outside. I did the chicken wire all the way up the back as well. A two by four board holds up the back end of the coop. Then there is a two by four frame for the door. The actual door was made of 1 by 4s. A safety clip holds it shut. The braces in the corner of the frame are 2x4 pieces. In one corner there are two that the waterer sits on to help keep the birds from making it too messy. I used heavy duty zip ties to put the wire onto the cattle panels and "wire" the cattle panels to each other. Blue tarp over the top and back, and I can still lift the tarp in back up to increase ventilation as needed.
