My horse Freckle!

Hombre has been on hiatus for over a month because of his front feet/foot/hoof??? issues. Yesterday was a flurry of horses, silly baby mules, vet and farrier at the trainers hale. (Hence the photo of the Buckskin Appy stud and I wish I had gotten more photos of the rest of the goings on for you folks but was kinda busy). Anywho, Hombre got his first pair of shoes . Kinda sad cuz I was hoping to keep him unshod. But he is officially back to work today!
Just another shot of this true beauty (getting his teeth floated). I might add that the mare behind him, not in view, is in season. He was a perfect gentleman. The horse to the left is the mare we picked up at pasture the other day. Her check up said she is 30-40 days pregnant (from a blue eyed Tovero)!!!

Driving home last afternoon in a particularly scenic spot. Though it was posing for a photo for you cold weather winter dwellers, maybe help you warm up for the holidays!!! That and Hot Toddy's... or cocoa.

Beautiful horse! She sounds so nice. What breed is Freckles?

I want to get into barrel racing, though I've only done it a couple times on a lesson horse that doesn't really even do barrels. I haven't even gotten him to canter the whole pattern.

She is a quarter horse, Her color is sorrel. I am glad you like her! I love barrel racing! Freckle is great at it, I always lope around them with her!
