Just wanted to share since I havent yet

This is Roscoe. He is a 6 year old grade Paint horse (he is only grade because the breeders didnt think he had enough white to be registered as a Paint and not as Breeding Stock

) He stands 15.2H and is a great boy with a little bit of an attitude, lol

This is Luna. She is newly 3 years old this year and she is a Quarter Horse. I have raised her and shes my baby girl. Her mom was a rescue (whom I have rehomed) and although also out of registered parents because of her mom's history Luna wasnt registered either. But I do know that she is Impressive bred on Sire's side (n/n) and Poco Bueno on her Dam's side. She is standing about 15.1H or so right now.

And this is Lakota...Kota for short. He is my newest addition and is a rescue. I got him from Stormy Farms in SC 2 months ago now. He had been rescued with 4 other foals that had been put into a small paddock and left without food or even water for about 2+ months!! Kota was in the worst shape of all the foals but is coming along nicely now. He is currently 10 months old and standing 14H.....and growing!! lol

Very very pretty! I just love paints! My paint is full of attitude. I have a 3 year old and she is like a kid. She has to be the first for everything feed, treats, brushing. Shes pretty intimidating i think she is about 1600# and tries to rub up against me like a kitten. Kota is so cute and leggy I think he will make a nice horse. Poor thing deserves a break.

Yeah Roscoe can be a brat at times, lol. But hes a great horse at the same time. I think in a few years hes gonna be really great and something that my kids can learn on. He might have some attitude but hes a safe horse to ride. Hes not crazy or stupid even with his attitude. The only time he really gets onry is when he knows hes going to have to work. He tests adults but you put a kid on him and hes gentle and as easy going as they come.

Your paint reminds me ofmy old guy, age 22 now, he had just enough white on the face, and a dark spot inside the white to be registered Paint. (all that did for me is raise his price

) He is pretty arthritic now, and just a pasture pet, despite an easy life, Ive had him since he was 3 mos old, and he has been a very sweet boy, a great bbsitter for new weanlings, too!

kfchickenlady - Yeah, Roscoe is pastured with my rescue colt and he does great with the little guys as well. Hes bossy enough to teach them manners but not overly so to hurt them or anything. Hes been in with other little guys and really takes them under his wing once they learn some manners. Hes a good boy

Peaches Lee - He is a really nice mover all 'round. Hes got a really nice slow jog on him too!

Balefire - Thank you! Kota is a Saddlebred. We arent 100% sure if there is anything else in him as we dont see any strong signs yet but we are hoping as he continues to put weight and muscle back on and grows that we will be able to get a better idea.
