Hmm . . . I always thought cologne and perfumes were invented by the genders to try to cruelly punish the opposite sex.

Showers and deodorant that smells more like soap than some icky perfumed odor . . . that's the way to go.

I get really bad headaches from perfumes and such. So my husband and I dont wear any. Totally fine by me. Cant really stand the smell of the stuff anyway.

Perfumes were created because people use to never bathe. Had to cover up their stink somehow.

I had a client yesterday that had on SO MUCH somethin' somethin' that not only could I taste it in the air, but my husband could smell it on me when I got home after work!!!

DH only wears deoderant, I am allergic to mostly everything so cologne is a no-no. My dad wore Brut when I was little, and Old Spice. Those are comfort smells now.

I still have about 1/2 of a bottle of Ralph Lauren that I got for my 16th birthday...... I turned 42 on May 9.

And yes, I still use a tiny little bit of it on very rare occasions.

As a biochemist, I do believe that a lot of love is chemical but I never realized how much scent drives the female of our species. It seems that most women I've run into have a scent that they go wild for...whether a cologne or her man's natural scent.

I'd be lying if I said that I see the same response from men, who seem to be much more in tune to visual cues, the sexist pigs we are.

On a side note, I've been using that Axe Kilo anti-perspirant for many years and my wife loves it. I can't stand the smell of their other scents though.
