So I am on my first bator. Its a used sportsman. I swore I would never fill it. I have room for 2 more dozen. Its on its way now.

um, i think the top is full of three dozen. and I counted openings last night, and I threw away eggs today so I have room for 28.

Staggered hatch too. First round due 6/9, next on 6/18 and Appleyard ducks due on 6/19....

I told my boyfriend I needed 2 more dark layer hens. My bator now has a turner full of dark brown eggs and EE eggs crossed with my dark layer mutt roo. Plus I crammed some coturnix eggs along the mesh in the gap between the turner and the side of the bator.

I think I may be getting punchy.

My Wee Serama Eggs just started on Day 18...Closed the Incubator after adding water.

I want a Sportsman.

Well, my husband wanted a couple of laying hens for fresh eggs.......

That just opened a whole new door for me.... I found all these great and wonderful breeds that were /..... calling my name!!!!! (I KNOW YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!)

Then I ordered silkie eggs from jenlynn4, cause i say i was just only trying to help her.

which i really was.

So all in all when my chicks hatch and come in on my order from Welp.... I will have 48 chickens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a little different number than the couple he had intended to have....

Then i tell him that i need a 20' x 40' covered run!

He really may kill me!!!

I hope he remembers how much he loves me!!!
