So I've always wanted chickens. Always asked for them. Never really had the space or time to care for them and hadn't convinced my husband that it was a good idea. My Aunt has chickens and we happened to visit her recently. My husband and I were treated to a lovely breakfast of fresh eggs and what do you know.... the next week, I had 6 chicks of my own!
My husband, not a construction guy, took on the task of building me a run to house my coop and give my girls an area they will love and be safe.
It took a lot of work, time and more money than expected, but three days later, the girls (and I) love it! I am so proud of my husband , he did such a great job!
