My husband seems disappointed

Since you like to read and can't justify buying "new" books, what ALWAYS thrills me is any antique books. A very old copy of a classic or some antiuque cookbooks. Something you don't want to check out and then take back, but want to hang on to.

Have you had a massage??? I love them. I am actually getting one this evening. If you have not, let him get you one. It sounds like you do a lot of physical stuff and are very self-sufficient. It will do your muscles and your mental health good.

I am a sucker for kitchen gadgets. I recently bought a grain mill and absolutely love it. My energy level has also really increased since I started baking with fresh ground flours. My other new favorite is a pasta machine. These are useful toys. They don't really make work easier (they actually add chores on top of chores) but they add quality.

Forget all the practical things in life and go away for a romantic week-end JUST the two of you and rekindle the passion..........go on you know you want too! From what I have seen the USA has some FANTASTIC places to "get away too" you lucky things.......

Well darlings what can I say except ...Tally ho (opps sorry I do have a rather British accent...

If you just can't bring yourself to ask for something fru-fru, like a massage (although they are wonderful) how about a camera or video camera to take pics of all your critters?

If you do crafts and such, perhaps some yarn, fabric or notions... ? I NEVER have enough of those things.

I love slippers and cozy socks, or a nice soft afgan/throw.

Oh, this is TOO funny! I thought I was the only one who read English Chick's posts hearing a British accent in my mind...
