My Husband Wants a Pot Belly Pig

That Hilda is one cute pig. My husband saw the pictures and said "that's the one i want". i told him she's taken, but we can look into getting one almost as cute when we're ready.

i was just thinking that if we get the pig, mini sheep, and alpaca when they're all young it might be easier to raise them together. Just thinking about chickens, it's hard putting them together when they're older and set in their ways. This will be a project for the spring, i think.

Thanks for sharing your pics of Hilda, Haviris. She is so adorable.

We had one about 20 years ago when they were expensive. She was awesome.
She grew up with my agility dogs and thought she was a dog. wonderful in the house, went to the door when she wanted out. Loved to sit on us and didnt get about 50lbs.
The newest fad is the KuneKune pig. Check those out before getting a PBP just in case you want something different and pure. Maybe one day I will get another pig. Right now I am thinking about an Emu or two.

Well Samari Jenn, ALL males smell awful if you don't have them "Fixed"

. Remember PBP are STILL pigs and must be kept clean. I've never had one because I'm afraid I would get too attached to it.
