My Husband's Solution To The Stinky Soggy Brooder Problem

The only waterer that I have to compare it to was the little quart waterer and the big pet fountains lol I do like it a lot! They still get their water all dirty with food but at the end of the day when I do the clean up I can take the whole thing outside and pop the red tray off and wash it and the water in the container is still clean

the pot base is about 3" tall and the bricks are about 2" tall (hard to measure when its all put together). the bricks are the cheapest ones we could find at home depot, about $.28. they are smaller than "normal" sized bricks

Hey there...I was curious how this set up was working almost a month later?? As the ducklings grew did it still work to keep the brooder dry?? Thanks for the info!!

well it still works great but my goslings started to tear it apart so i took the mulch ring out so they would not eat it. So, GREAT for ducks!!! Not so much for Geese
