My IB hen has lost all of her ? crest? feathers

So she has lost them all. Is that normal for this time of year or is she getting old? I know she is at least 7.

That is odd. I thought she ran the roost around here. She hangs around the juveniles pen and now I am wondering if they are doing it? I am going to keep a close eye on that now.

Also, it could be the time of the year. My peacock only has a few crest feathers because he is shedding his crest right now. I found a few of them on the ground. It is just that time that they shed some feathers so that by Spring they will look their best with nice fresh feathers. Still it could be someone pulling the feathers, but if your hen is pretty dominant since she is older then I couldn't see lower ranking ones being able to do that. Just my though.

Our peafowl have molted as well. A few birds crest has thinned a bit with new growth. But none has lost all their crest during molt.
Could be this is the norm for some (?).
