My Ideal chicks have arrived!

    From Ideal: 4 cuckoo marans pullets, 3 ameraucana pullets (1 d.o.a.), 2 buff orp pullets, 2 rlw cornish roos. Also, 3 blue and 3 splash chicks of an unknown feather legged variety- we're thinking cockin and prolly roos since they were packing peanuts.

    Also, we are looking forward to the bator and chicks from sclanimals today! YAY!!!

    That's a bummer about the one that was d.o.a. I think that's unusual for this time of year (warmer weather), I'm surprised you got peanuts also. However - if you're still in 'the frozen wasteland' then that makes sense.

    Congratulations on such cute chicks Jared & fam. You are in for more fun! Sorry I'm no help with identifying chick breeds, so I can't tell you if that one's an Amer/EE.
