My Ideal Poultry 2 weeks old PG 3

Just get the ducks. Messy, but they are sooooo much fun. We had some friends over last night and had the ducks out and they were so cute. The Khaki Campell sat on my son's shoulder for 10 or 15 minutes. This evening we were holding them again and all three just sat on our laps and for some reason, they all REALLY love trying to eat my gold jewelry.

I bet that first duckling is your Cayuga, I had one w/ yellow on it. I also had a black swedish and it's yellow was cleaner looking, I'd bet that one is your Cayuga. Mine even had slight yellow eye liner, but when she grew the yellow went away, all except for a tiny white spot on her throat. No idea on the brown duckling though, cute!

Here's a pic of my Cayuga that had the yellow, swimming w/ my dog.

Buff ducklings can be brown.
Usually with a hint of yellow too.
They dont get their buff colour until about 5mths of age.
It could be a KC but dont cross off the buff just yet;)

Thanks everyone. I really just picked some breeds because of their color and am not real concerned which I end up with. Just curioius at this point. I am so glad we got them. I had the three of them out last night and we put a plate with about 1 inch of water in it and the three of them went crazy. Run in, Run out, Run in, Run out. Shake, Splash. It was so cute.

Of course they are in the house and we dried them off before putting them back in the brooder. We should have taken a picture, but I was so busy watching, I forgot. Sorry.

Thank you! Yes she's a great dane. We didn't put the ducklings w/ her, they were swimming and she desided she was hot!

Wanted to post updates of our 2008 Babies. All doing really well Moved them to the nursery / brooder in the barn after one week.
