Ok here's where we are out of the original 25 eggs 8 are alive out of those 8 ,3 are haveing a little trouble getting their legs I only had to help one hatch and it seams stronger then the other two the rest of the eggs where dead fully formed chicks just dead no idea temp was fine humidity was fine I consider it a success now we do it all over again on the 6th it will be lockdown for the other 30 od chicks so luck to me ill be candling in a day or so hoping to see lots of movement!

My incubator shot to 106 for six hours I fixed it do you think eggs will be fine? Quail eggs in a still incubator humidity at 60% eggs 10 days old

5 of the original 25 eggs survived & my 28 eggs went into lockdown on the 6th so lets hope i have a good hatch.28 chicken eggs due 7/10, 6 chicken eggs due 7/11, 3 runner duck eggs due 8/4

Day 20 I noticed the first pip out of the eggs temp keeps fluxing between 100 and 102 so I'm a bit worried humidity is hanging steady at 57 should be a bit higher but can't be helped now
Plugged in the mini bator to get the duck eggs going I have 3 Indian runner duck eggs that where harvested two days ago I have never done duck eggs so wish me luck

Ok so just a quick update I looked in the incubator and its morning of day 21 and I have 5 very active almost dry chicks 2 almost compleatly unzipped chick and lots of pips.was wondering because a chick can slip and lose its pip spot if you move the egg what happens when the other chicks play hockey with said eggs that have piped do those eggs lose there spot?
