Ok so added 3 more chicks last night and 2 today there is one in the bator that pipped the wrong end and hasn't finished absorbing yolk that leaves 4 eggs left to candle and 5 eggs left in the side box due to pip at any time so we will see over all this was a very successful hatch and in a couple of days I will be setting 20 chick eggs 9 jungle fowl eggs and I have 3 India runner duck eggs set in mini bators as they take longer to hatch but I will post more on all this after the currant hatch is done

Ok so this hatch was a success we now have 30 health chicks all in a brooder very happy the end.........or is it no its not because we are on to the next hatch and this should be the last one till oct or Nov lol
Right now we have 3 indian runner duck eggs in the mini bator to give them a head start they have been in seance the 8th tomarrow on the 12th we will put all the chicken and jungle fowl eggs in the bator there are 9 JF eggs and 24 chicken eggs I'm only hatching pure bred australorp, pure bred buff orpingtons, and blue eggs from my EE hens I have my bator going so it will be the right temp and humidity for my eggs ill post pics and final count on eggs in the morning

Ok so here is where we are guys
Chicks all in one brooder happy and looking healthy
40 Eggs in at 6:21 am at a temp of 102 & humidity of 45 so that looks great I put place mats in the bottom of the bator with lots of vent holes in the material so they get air through the floor .and last but not least my cat had 3 kittens under my bed so I won the bet lol

Ok day 14 we have had a few temp spikes 104 in the incubator no idea why but I've candled the eggs can't see into the blue that we'll so those are a total mystery even about the air sacks the brown looks ok so far only a couple look possibly infirtile the 9 jungle fowl 3 look really good to me but I haven't hatched them before so we will see the 3 duck eggs ok 1 looks totally infirtile one looks mabey 1 looks fertile but this is all speculation we will see

ok so its 8/14/13 and i have been collecting eggs starting on the 11th i will collect them till 8/17 and i will fire up the brooder on the 16th put them in on the 17th with holes pluged.will keep plugged for first 10 days candle on 10th 14th and 18th day .lockdown on 18th hatch day 21 going for 100 % hatch rate
