My incubator is on day 17 and i cant get the temperature to stay

The incubator is on day 17 and I have it set at 37.5 degrees Celsius but it doesn't stay at 37.5 degrees. It pretty much stays constant at 35.2 and I can't get it to go up!!! What am I supposed to do? It's on day 17 will the chicks still live? The incubator is completely digital and it is model without a brand that I got off eBay...

My best advice to you would be to go get a calibrated, known to be correct thermometer to check what your temp actually is. An unbranded model from eBay is likely to be giving you the wrong readings. (I have experience of this myself) I have an unbranded model and it's totally wrong, I go by the thermometer I know to be correct that I have in there not what the incubator is set at.

Have your eggs developed ok when you have candled them?

Where can I get a calibrated thermometer?
