Hi everyone! I figured I should join the board since I have been studying all I can on here. Decided to finally get some chicks this year, so a backyard flock it is. Picking up some black australorps and barred rocks next week. My coop is near complete, and my brooder is all set up. All of this is thanks to the information so many of you have provided. So thank you for sharing your wisdom! Oh, I live in the suburbs outside of Rochester on the east side....
