Eventually I want her and a friend or friends to have free range. Just testing my cats and little dogs first.

Chicken crap is manna for the garden. But it's hot. It needs to be composted first. Do a thread search for deep litter management in the coop and run. Let the chickens do the composting for you. If you do that, you'll not be messing around with chicken poop, only inputting high carbon materials, and removing finished compost.

Welcome to backyard Chickens!

Along with the use of poop suggestions, you need to setup a roost and a nest box. You will also want to setup some poop boards. Adding some pine shavings to the coop part and sand to the run will help with cleanup too.

Get a better water fountain and feeder setup too.

Hey, went you get a free minute from all that poop scooping, hop on a plane and come build me a run for my indoor cats [who have an enclosed, outside deck] and one for my chickens too! Awesome!

Your chicken is a hen, though I'm not sure what breed she is. I would get some flock raiser, grower, or all flock feed and oyster shells for her. She would probably prefer to have a companion as well.

That's nice but it needs to be predator proofed or your chickens won't last long. Google wow to predator proof your hen house to get some ideas.
