(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had 8 chicks for 10 hours now. These are my first chicks besides babysitting some last year for a couple days.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have no chickens yet
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 2 Silkies, 2 Americanas, 2 Roadisland Reds, and 2 something else I cant remember...another layer.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
From a google search about chickens
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Dancing, teaching, gardening, and working at a youth summer camp
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live with a roommate and we both have pitbulls and are both teachers.
