What a nice introduction; sounds like you have a full and very interesting life. As someone with miniature goats, Katahdin sheep, chickens, runner ducks, geese, cats and a dog, I can appreciate how much time and effort you are spending with your animals. Plus, music, books and school on top of that -- impressive!!

I live about a half hour away from Murray McMurray and have some of their hens. I have seen the Whitings in their catalog and will be interested in hearing about your experiences with those.
