My introduction

Hi all
I'm Barbara from the Los Angeles area. I’ve had chickens off and on most of my life. I just got two Black Australorp pullets that are about 12 weeks old. They replaced a hen I rescued from a coyote who was carrying her across the back acreage at my place in Arizona. Unfortunately, although I was able to save her from the coyote in Arizona I was not able to save her from the raccoon at my Los Angeles home. After some extensive reinforcement of the coop I was ready to try again. I’m looking forward to learning more and enjoying camaraderie with people with my same interest.
