Hi,
Welcome to this awesome place
I’m excited for your mystery box ! Also I’ve always wanted a lavender Orpington, they look so regal.

My lavender is my only Rooster and he is so beautiful! I've always heard that roosters are mean but he is the most friendliest out of my flock so far.
I'm really excited about my mystery box, so far we have a Silver Spangled Hamburg from what I can tell, also 1 white broad breasted turkey and 1 bronze broad breasted. The bronze likes to snuggle and get pets lol.

I think I lucked out with my LO rooster, but I've also heard they are a docile breed anyway.
The turkeys are very very curious, first ones to come up the the side of the brooder for pets and snuggles, definitely not hand shy. When they get a little bigger they may go to a separate brooder.

I love langshan (& orpingtons too) but all of mine are black. I've bred them with my big blue (orp and Easter egger) rooster and came out with some big, beautiful blue chicks...but they have always been males.
Just saying...I'm jealous of your blue langshan!
