Hello guys, I live in AZ and I‘m raising chickens!


(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I got my first chickens on April 13 last year.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have eight adults and two chicks.

(3) What breeds do you have? Easter Egger, Sussex, Leghorn, Silkies, Colombian Black Tails, and two unknown chicks.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Just knowing that I’ve created life and am helping ensure the safety of it.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Other than chickens, I have a dog.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found this while trying to search up how to help with bumblefoot on chickens. I’ve known BYC for a week or two, and joined it because I need help with chickens.
