Welcome to BYC!!(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first got chickens nearly two years ago. The funny thing is, is my girlfriend picked them out and I picked out some ducks and we brought them home.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have three. Chunky, Hei Hei, and Nugget.
(3) What breeds do you have?
They’re Bantam Roosters!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
My Rooster Chunky is very affectionate and he’s wicked lovey with people. He’s fun to socialize with!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Disney..
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
So the coop my amazing chickens and ducks live in was made by my mom’s boyfriend. However, my mom, girlfriend, and I all attend to the birds in their amazing coop. I have an indoor cat and she always fondly watched over the birds when they were babies. It was so cute.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I had a question I found answers to on this website like a year and a half ago. I tend to like looking here for answers so I figured it was about time to just make a account
