My introduction

I've chickens for a little over a year now. I started with 13 and now have 18 as well at two turkeys. I don't know the breed as they were a mixed batch we bought from tractor supply as babies. What I do know is that some are small, like banties, one is a silky and we have some large ones that are brown, black and white. We just love hanging out with our chickens and some of them love us and will jump in our lap. We are both retired and it is very pleasurable to see them happy. Almost every time I ask a question about chickens, BYC comes up and has the best answers and what seems to be a great group of people. Due to the latter, I couldn't resist but to join the group and I'm glad to be here and hope to learn a lot from this forum!
