My Jersey Black Giant Hen...

My hen is about six years old and shes a jersey black giant, she is feed layer pellets. My question is she lays an egg every 3 days which seems odd to me because i was used to having her lay and egg at least every other day. She weighs about 7 pounds (estimate) and i was wondering if that was normal for her breed ?

Maybe its just her age, i just hope shes not sick...

Just getting older, probably, if there are no other signs of illness, etc.
