My little black Jersey Giants are about 4 weeks old now. I got several other breeds at the same time, including Light Brahmas, Buff Orpingtons and Silver Laced Wyandottes. The Gold Laced Wyandottes are about 6 weeks. But my question/concern is the Jersey Giants are teeny weenie little runts compared to the other birds. I've read that they matured slowly, but I was just thinking that they maxed out their weight gains at a later age, as opposed to being way behind the growth curve of my other birds. Or could there be something else wrong with them?
I didn't take these pictures to show off the differences, but you can still kinda tell. The Jersey Giants are the all black ones with little white throat patches.
